Give my a moderate house that's ultra dialed in over an NPC mansion any day.

This is moderate? I want one!

I consider sub 2500 sq/ft living space moderate for a full sized family.

If it was just my wife and I, sub 1500 would be plenty.

We did a studio apartment for years without discomfort.

The exact aesthetic matters less than the build quality, thoughtfulness.

Each home should just suite it's location.

I love the last one in the woods

That's on the beach in a little island in PNW.

I've seen the video where they build this container home. It's a bit too narrow for me though.

Is this the mansion or the moderate house….a little too modern for my taste

It's not about the style. Scroll down.

Totally agree. Know several people building 4000+ sq ft houses in the last few years and it seems excessive. 2500-3000 seems plenty for a family

Less room = need to make every foot count = more love and care put into less space.

Central AC or death. And a pool is life changing for a family. We’ve had both in every home we’ve lived in, current included.

Pools get a bad rap. Until you have one. Then you never go back. Ever. Unless you live directly on a lake or the ocean.

Salt Water pool. Yes. Should have clarified.

Well built and designed is the way.

My updated 50's brick rancher is perfect. When we looked at homes over a decade ago, we must have walked over 100. Most homes not only had weird layouts, but were cheaply made and had no firm sense of character. I love the look, materials, floor plan, feel and bonus pool, hot tub room and spare shop in the back. Your home should be productive and holistic not consumptive and restrictive.

💯

My wife and I enjoy looking at homes in neighborhoods. Now I allow Redfin to spam me hard so I can look at more houses.

How do you define dialed?
