Our community members discovered it (and other leaks not mentioned) and we've been working on it since before VPN providers were aware of it. You can see from our release notes we already shipped an attempted fix for it but it caused app compatibility issues with other VPNs and had to be rolled back. Users reported many issues with their VPN apps not working afterwards.
