The propagation of OSS AI is potentially just as crucial as the propagation of OSS social protocols, and for a lot of similar reasons. Could see the two technologies actually being flywheels for each other.

I don’t know if it’s quite what you mean, but I believe fast.ai is non-profit and doing fantastic work. More focused on development and accessibility to tools than specific applications.

here's the thing: the more data in the streams and water flow of cyberspace is polluted codebase generations built on top of false ai protocol language: all ai trained on open source thereafter becomes corrupt too by virtue of picking up the corrupted definitions. if the corrupt code bases are not removed from the protocols through a boolean or other method - there's no way to undev even wild ai because it seeks out information which is improperly assigned from the start and doesn't know the difference between the false data and the aligned definitions. i'm not even sure if a boolean would be enough for the scaled ai like google etc.

cafe-society.news since 2019. Started with sharing ML bayes filter between devices/users via blockstack. Struggling financially. Working on on-device ML based content filter for RSS feeds. Currently moving from blockstack to nostr. Developer wrote git-nostr to optimise transmission of ML algorithm updates.
Not that I’m aware of.
