Stall for as long as humanly possible, get lawyers to help, reach out to others for advice funding help, contact the Bitcoin legal defense fund, Open Sats, etc. I wouldn't cave on day one.

The very fact of making people outcasts it's already a battle lost. Even if they fight back (and become heroes at Nostr), the fact of having to focus on a legal defense and spend resources on that rather than building the product, already marks a kind of defeat IMO, a bad strategy as a whole, that becomes self evident now with the power abuse. Hope reality proves me wrong; everybody loves heroes (and very few people are) but lawyers are not enough to advance privacy.
American (other many countries) users n consumers is getting FENCED from using any freedom technology slowly - That is macro overall trend.
whether its WOS Primal-wallet ACINQ or anyone making ex"land of the free" outcast or not is not the issue. They need focus energy on what best at serving technology/ community not fall into political n law trap.
The ACINQ software is open source, why don't you host a version of Phoenix wallet yourself?
Then, you can pay for the lawyers and beg for help from the Bitcoin legal defense fund, Opensats etc.
Don't ask other people to risk jail time if you're not willing to either. Instead of demanding other people place themselves at risk of arrest, why don't you put up, or shut up.
You wouldn't cave on day one? Yeah, right. Talks pretty cheap. So is hosting your own ACINQ node. You can have that up and running in just a couple of hours. Hell, I'll even set it up for you for free, provided you record the day the FBI kicks down your door and arrests you for daring to do what you're demanding other people so.
A tough keyboard warrior. I like it. Channel some of this energy into doing good things for Nostr.
Me, I'm not the calling for other people to risk jail time. Why call me a tough keyboard warrior, that doesn't even make sense? Kinda sucks as an insult.
Why don't you do what you're demanding other people do? It's a simple question?
I guess it's because you're to much of a coward to risk jail time yourself.
What I use isn't under attack though? My business isn't changing? I'm not making any changes in what I do or use? If and when I'm asked to not run my node for myself and others I will then act accordingly.
