I modified this recipe by using a tofu press for a few hours (but 30 min should be sufficient) instead of the pressing technique provided and used one real egg instead of egg replacer. I cut one block of tofu into 4 thin slabs and fried in peanut oil. I've also made these in the air fryer before for a ~healthier~ vibe but frying them the old fashioned way hits different so choose your own adventure.
