I’m back! So where have I been these past two weeks? Well it started with my home internet going down. This led to an experiment. I’ve been wanting to take a break from the internet for some time. This is hard to choose to do though. When my internet went down, I decided to use that opportunity. I would go without internet until the technician could come fix the issue, which was a two week wait. Now my phone internet is unlimited but goes down to like dial up speeds after I hit a certain limit. So this is how I have been able to receive important notifications for email and such. The very bare minimum I could load. On #Nostr I could only load posts sometimes. Notification or DMs never came though. So now I am back! I will say, the experience was beautiful. I had my internet use down by 95%. This is something I will periodically try to do. The benefits of no internet distractions was very obvious for me. More time reading, pondering and focusing on family has been a blessing. Happy to be back though! I can’t lie. I missed you guys, and your memes, and humour, and kindness. I learn a lot here on #Nostr from all of you. Happy to be back! 🙏🫂💜
