I found the most important thing is eye autofocus (which I don’t have in my version unfortunately) otherwise it’s hard to get my 1.8 in focus on subjects. I’m probably just bad at it as well.

I shot on this Canon 5D Mark 2 for a decade before switching to Sony, and was shooting manual focus lenses with a viewfinder loupe.
