When someone is sick and can’t go to work, is it referred to as “calling in sick” or “calling out sick?” I’ve heard and used both, so maybe it depends on where you’re from 🤷‍♂️

Either. It's really a mute point and I could literally care less.

I've always used "call in sick" but I'm the only one I know. Call out sounds weird to me.

I’ve always heard of people “calling out sick”

It’s called happiness (But also calling out sick)

I feel like its "calling in sick" and "calling out of work" but either one works for real lol

Think “calling in sick” is more commonly used, but there’s some regional variance
