Thank you for the update. Looking at the BTC map, not many places accepts BTC in PR. Orange pilling Puertoricans seems difficult. I have tried to talk to my sister in law who used to sell in the San Juan market her self, and who is connected to some of the activist communities here. It seems like Bitcoin is lumpted together with crypto, and associated with all the people from the US who came here to avoid paying tax at home, and who are seen as just another type of colonialists. And for me, as a white European, I should probably just shut up, and not try to tell people what is best for them. All respect to the work you are doing. I wish you all luck.

You're welcome! You're 100% correct on the difficulty and why it has been an uphill battle here. We're trying to be more efficient and selecting based on initial interest/willingness to learn. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!

Well. Another update! Organizers seem to have surrenderred to farmers’ pressure and now there WILL be San Juan’s Farmers’ Market this Saturday Three Kings Day.

Both nostr:npub167jrghp745020g6t664wg0rre0vpjswehgqel6tjssl9eeuwxxrswgww05 and nostr:npub1n4a0d9rtxg9nhf456wrdu2ev70u2c5haed3lxdpar2pky6f68njsn90w7h will be there accepting #bitcoin ⚡️.

Hope you can make it there!

Great! I'll try to be there. Family is pulling me in all directions when I am here, but maybe I can make them come as well.
