Leeching off welfare is the cantillion effect for poor people. It's how they get close to the money printer. Leeching the system is one way to kill it. That being said, leeches that aren't also hard working are missing the point.
Being a leech hurts oneself and leaves one vulnerable. The ethics of being a leech is irrelevant.
Well if you put it that way, fiat is the leech.

I didn't directly point to Bitcoin but now that you bring it up, yes Bitcoin is an antidote to fiat. I like to think permaculture is as well. In the case of welfare and people "leeching", a phrase comes to mind; don't hate the player, hate the game.

Gold bugs get it. They just don’t get BTC or pretend not to because of their business & clientele.
They were anti government & fiat way before BTC existed.
They’re just butthurt their horse is so much slower.
I want hard working Americans to work together locally from the ground up. Many people don’t even vote in local elections.
