The only altcoiners I’ve encountered on Nostr so far have been Monerans

Moron-eros

Vitalik was here for 1 hour

Yup. Bc I feel like most monerans are closet bitcoiners. Everyone else just doesn’t have a clue what’s going on

Let them come in **tho im tired tryna explain**

Anyone that denies the value of monero is a fool. Now if monero were somehow become traceable then it loses all value and purpose it ever had. Literally a story of all eggs in one basket

The day people talk about soccer, football, food, and hobbies in general is the day that nostr will have succeeded

Surprising number of Monero lovers on #Nostr. It’s the only altcoin that I consider has a community of actual cypherpunks with similarly aligned values as bitcoin.

I simply think they’re making an economic error rather than a values error in valuing Monero over Bitcoin.

Lotta 2nd amendment/3D printing peeps on the Monero train

I see a lot of "save in bitcoin, spend in monero" types in both communities. I've always found myself in both worlds appreciating aspects and POV of both.

Wouldn't even be here at all if it wasn't for you Guy! Your first time on Dave Smith pulled me into your podcast and deep into bitcoin! Will always be grateful to you for that!🙏

I’m keeping a closer look on ISO20022. For example the MoneyGram, LOBSTR wallet, and Stellar Lumens deelio.

No CumRocketers?

I have some economic arguments for btc over monero that I find convincing.. but no issue with monero users and am forced to agree that in certain cases its use is preferable.

What is the advantage of monero, over bitcoin which has passed through a mixer? The right to privacy is important, but is there any real advantage to Monero?

The argument they make is that people might ask why you mixed your bitcoin. Whith Monero every transaction is private by default.
