Is it just my system or does it seem like Cursor >1.0 is laggy. it has the same feeling like a web app where the rendering thread is constantly getting blocked

#asknostr any other recommendation for vibe coding setups that might be worth trying?

I've tried that a bit, but it gets so expensive and it keeps wanting to go into full agent mode. I like Cursor because I can guide it through the tasks on at a time to make sure the code isn't too bad

claude code is also pretty good at being restrained
