I was hoping for ability to upload an attachments to my own servers.
But since there's no option to do that in most Nostr clients, I gave up at it.

Don't you just post the link to the image in your note?
So if you had it inside of your app, it would just get the link after upload and post that link after your message in the note.
I believe that's what nostros does
I know that. But still that's just making things kind of complicated.
