That is a good balancing point about regret as an emotional experience. I was thinking of how some people like to share pictures and words that say “live life with no regrets!” as motivational. It’s like, uh huh … how? It’s like when people say, “Be happy”. Seems meaningful, but not really.

Following our intuition leads to fewer regrets, but still temporary regret/guilt teaches us, if we want to learn, from decision-making to accountability. Chronic regret is what can consume one's mind.
