baby blanket in moss stitch. super simple and I love the texture it makes.

but.... I am getting kinda bored so I might switch to shells or waves or something.

how big should baby blankets be anyway? ๐Ÿค” I'm thinking like car seat size?

This color and pattern is so pretty! But yea it'd get bored fast. ๐Ÿ˜€

it was on sale and I was in a sunny yellow phase. I really should have picked up green or something to go with it ๐Ÿ˜…

A car seat blankie is definitely a handy size to have!

what size would that be? like 24" square?

No, I think you'd want it to be a bit wider for tuck-ability when they get bigger.

I always make them oversized, that way they can be toddler blankets. I applaud your commitment to that much moss stitch. My go to is the Daphne Afghan by Tony Lipsey, 4 granny triangles seamed together. By the time I'm getting bored, it's time to start a new triangle.

ooo that pattern looks super cute!!! ๐Ÿฅฐ

I only have one color so no chance to do any of that fun stripey stuff. I really like it though and will probably make it in the future.

It's great, the last one I made was bright rainbow colors and charcoal gray and definitely my favorite.

About 36" square is a good size! Big enough that an adult can use it for a lap blanket ๐Ÿฅฐ
