if ordinals increase competition for fees in transactions on the base layer of bitcoin does this not incentive transaction volume to move to lightening? The block size remains the same so the blockchain bloat argument doesn’t work.

i am a purist and don’t want ordinals on the blockchain, but who am i to tell users what they can and can’t do. If they follow the consensus rules and pay their fee, 🤷‍♂️

Mempool is pretty much back to normal. Ordinals is a fad that lasted less than one month.

It's impossible to sustain. They have already paid more than 1 million dollars in fees lol.
