BlueSky’s popularity is good news… it shows that the social network effort of one platform isn’t as powerful as we think.
MySpace died… Facebook died… on a long enough time horizon, Nostr will have its moment. And if it’s built right, it should last longer than all that came before it — as a ubiquitous protocol.
FB died? In 2023 it still generated far more profit than X. A brazilian medic/writer/influencer showed his numbers, FB generated 10x more engagement and paying clients for him at every post than X.
