Nah. Entangled is indeed like ying and yang, but this photo is not a photo of two entangled photons. The original paper was demonstrating a new method of photography. For that, something had to be photographied. It could have been a cross, a star-and-crescent, a smiley, or any other famous symbol, but they chose the ying-yang.
