Yah. nostr creator says he wants to filter at relays and that centralization of data around relays is how nostr is designed to work. Basically, fuck your decentralisation and non censorship. They envision a walled garden that they can monetize is my guess. Sad but others will rise.

It is a little amusing that devs on here assume no one else knows any tech. They get rude and snotty and snark instead of answering questions. I really hoped for better but many of the devs are freedom larps. just sad.
