I like the analogy. If you allowed your kids to drink at your house while you were there, would you impose a limit on how much they could consume?

Knots says 1 beer max, and surprise surprise the kids aren't into the idea 😂
Ugh I’m glad this is something I don’t have to think about for another 10+ years. Idk about limit. Whenever there is a limit, teenage brains want to break it. It doesn’t matter what the limit is!
💯
I agree: limits aren’t very positive and almost nobody likes them, but it’s also true that, whether we want them or not, some limits simply exist. Sticking with your example, I might choose not to set limits for myself, but if I drink 4 gin and tonics I’ll probably be a bit drunk; if I drink 4 bottles of straight gin, I’ll almost certainly go from alcohol poisoning to death in a short time. With this I don’t want to start a debate or pass judgment on what’s right or wrong about the Op_return topic; I just want to say that, regardless of our will or preferences, certain limits exist, and it’s right to know them and respect them.
There is a way. Make friends with your children. Be honest and invite honesty back. They can respect you and the limits.
Core on the other hand.....
