I just disabled notifs re-updated and the restart was very freezy/slow but it actually seems to have worked
hmm, let me give it a minute or two to load, and see if that changes anything

had to wait for like 60 seconds for everything to load

really really sluggish, especially when i open up universe, it pretty much freezes
also the search bar takes up further real estate on the main notes feed, i'd keep it under the universe tab (has a search icon in the bottom nav bar, so it just makes sense)

I just rolled back as well. I wrote a note that isn’t showing up. And then the app kept freezing after force quitting.

Lucky… 😅 I discovered if I wait a while it finally unfreezes and I can scroll. The problem is if I close Damus and reopen it I have to wait all over again.

I found a different issue.
I’m having a new issue- videos are not displaying their play pause button, expand to full screen, or timeline and are not allowing me to scroll forward or back in time. Play pause does work, but only if I tap the middle of video without any indication or button. At one point earlier today I could see the overlay with timeline and such, scroll/play/pause, but the expand to full screen button wouldn’t work. Now the entire overlay display is gone expect for the mute button which does work.
