It was super easy. Major kudos to the Eggstr team.

1. Sign in via Nostr browser extension.

2. Pay with Bitcoin via Lightning invoice.

3. One click to spin up four purpose-specific Nostr relays (Haven).

4. Configure custom domain configurations for Nostr relays and rebuild container.

5. One click to spin up Blossom media server.

6. Configure custom domain configurations for Blossom server and rebuild container.

7. Add Nostr relays and Blossom server configurations to your account in a Nostr client that supports them.

8. Post and be free.

It shouldn’t be that difficult to be free, not to mention the knowledge base needed to run all of that.

I’ve said it 100x before, Nostr is never going to gain any meaningful traction until it’s as easy to use as the current platforms. As it stands, the cons far outweigh the pros.
