The same way monarchy and gold coexisted for all of time.

Gold creates monarchy or other high inequality social structures by requiring castles or similar physical security. Bitcoin requires only a mind to secure. They do not have the same social effect.

If you don’t recognize anything other than centralized vaulting as a cause of monarchy then your confusion is understandable.

Not the only, but a strong influence keeping the average person from accumulating wealth and power that bitcoin eliminates.

In bitcoin all participants can join in equally if they choose, no single decider because they could be corrupted.

Monarchy says that person is better and in charge as fact because of who their parents were. History is full of stories of the monarch corrupting and turning against their own people.

History is also full of multi-generational benevolent monarchs. The oldest form of governance won’t disappear because of bitcoin. Making it hard or impossible to confiscate wealth will mitigate many of the risks of monarchy. It may actually get more popular as a result. Stability of a lifelong ruler and a clear responsible party who you can dispatch if needed? And he can’t take your money? Sounds pretty good.

Because they only pretend to understand what Bitcoin really means. Much like #nostr. We all live in different vibrational states.

I don’t see them as totally incompatible.

Good monarch is on the throne for a long time and is aiming to hand over the throne to his heir(s). That means he’s in for a long haul. Long time preference, same as we, the #Bitcoiners. The opposite of 4 year lifespan of those leeches we have today in the seats of power.

But hey… there are not many good monarchs left. Obviously not Charles III, his majesty pedophile.

Thanks to those who explained the reasoning. I still think you are wrong, but I understand where you are coming from. My thoughts are summed up well in this quote.

Well, what if I don’t want a leader? Where does that vote go? I do good on my own, I don’t want to be led. Is that freedom?

Do you think a hierarchy is necessary to build civilization?

Normal human hierarchy is fluid and voluntary. Today I follow you because we are doing a thing I think you are best at. Tomorrow we do the thing I'm the best at and you follow me. No coercion either time. Just natural self interest to get the jobs done well and easily.

I agree the more fluid and the greater choices of leadership is ideal, but people in power rarely relinquish that power. I would view supporting monarchy as people thinking hierarchies are necessary and picking the government with the greatest skin in the game

A government officials skin in the game isn't a function of the type of government. It is a function of how seriously the population chooses to keep them in line.
