also, keeping large amount of BTC in LN for long time might be bit risky due to LN channels not be stable enough overtime.

Exactly, I would not put a high amount on LN at the moment, not even in LN self-custody.
Also for beginners I find something like nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q easier to use than to understand the implications of opening a LN channel. As LN and its wallets evolve this could change.
