Lemme tell y'all a story. Just outside the town of Ringgold, Louisiana there was a field next to an intersection where the rednecks would dump their trash. One day someone dumped a toilet out there, and it was an eyesore. More trash piled up til another toilet appeared in the pile. This apparently triggered the "First Follower" effect and within a few months there were dozens of toilets. Then something strange happened. Someone arranged the toilets into a circle. Word got around, and people started coming just to see the toilets. Teens would party there at night. Tourists would stop and take selfies. The trash started getting picked up and hauled to the dump, art projects started to appear. The Ringgold Toilet Bowl started trending on social media. All from individual voluntary interaction. Then the city found out about it, and sent workers to collect all the toilets and art and take them to the landfill. Now this field is back to being a regular trashy litter ground. Chaos to order by voluntaryism. Order to chaos by fiat.
