Me too, typically I write songs that are over 4 1/2 minutes to seven minutes, but Iβve been trying make songs that are closer to under four and closer to three, however maybe this isnβt the ideal. I think whatever is a proper expression of all the ideas that are encompass by a track should be the ideal length.
There are amazing songs that are short, donβt get me wrong. I do think the constant shortening of good songs makes me want more. Like, great song, why is it less than 3:00!?!?
But then I like something and play it on repeat because I like the vibe but it doesnβt scratch the itch. 2.5 min songs are like a snack. A sugary one.
We gotta get our attention spans back!
