I don’t like automating my living systems. I like simplifying them. But maintaining one or two manual labor requirements. It keeps me better tuned to things, and more inclined to see a potential problem early if I turn something on and off every day.

I like automating the ones that don't give me life 🤙so I have time to do the ones that give me life.

For example watering to keep grass alive

Agreed.

Fortunately, where I live, we never have to water the grass. And, this is just me. People who automate everything with all sorts of complex things are great. I admire the innovation. I just do it differently 🤷
