Under my wig I actually have a frohawk (Afro Mohawk) because AfroPunk is the way to go~

Posting also for educational reasons since a lot of people haven't seen black hair up close and have questions.

I'm about to chemically straighten my hair so it's easier for me to manage and this is the before with my 4C hair.

Permed my hair finally.

I truly love my natural hair, but that shit is THICK, I'm talking straight out of Africa, so the maintenance is too much for me to deal with while I'm still learning to braid my own hair.

Heres a speed run of me putting the relaxer in and the before/after of my hair once I rinsed it.

Right now I'm conditioning my hair and I will post pictures when I'm finished and styled.

Finished my hair this morning.

Woke up from overnight conditioning my hair after putting a relaxer in and rinsed everything out before doing a LOC (Leave in/Oil/Cream) treatment. Then I proceeded to braid my hair and twist them into bantu knots as an easy protective style.

Took 3 days but it's done.
