You also have to weigh the potential cost vs the value of the guitar. Sentimental value is priceless, but it being what it is, a Washburn acoustic, it might not be worth a couple hundred bucks to fix. Not that know what they'd charge. I would just glue the crap out of it, because that's all they're going to do anyway, maybe just prettier.

Yep, it's a sign from the gods of music. They ripped your old axe asunder so that you may forge a new path in the fires of rock.

And.. still fix it and hang it up somewhere. Put your autograph on it and it's RIP date. It will still resonate there as you shred into new dimensions. Not like you can sell it.
