I have something to confess: even though I constantly shit on custodial wallets and shame the ones that use it, I use one myself.

My custodial wallet of choice: Revolut. Like Wallet of Satoshi, it supports instant feeless payments in its proprietary app.

What distinguishes me from custodial wallet apologists: I don't constantly jerk off and worship my custodial wallet and brag about it to the entire world as if it were actual freedom money being exchanged instead of what it actually is: numbers changing on a centralized spreadsheet.

A non-custodial wallet is so easy to set up with virtually no downside. I don't understand why anyone with the capability to do it would opt for a custodial solution.

with the capability to do it + if you already have a raspblitz/umbrell and a lnd node up and running that's being maintained

yea that i wouldn't understand either 😹

If you're not running your own node, then fine... one step at a time. But if you are then there's no reason not to take fifteen minutes to set this up.
