Agreed, I just had a wire from my business account held up by a bank trying to buy wine equipment. The bank wanted to “verify” I had seen equipment in person…just send the money. Banks man. Made a deposit Wednesday. Thursday was a holiday. It’s now Monday night. Deposit still pending.
Sent a wire today. Out of my account (including the fee) before the screen refreshed. My vendor probably won’t see it clear their account until the end of the week. Where is it?

The bankers at my local branch know not to ask me the questions they’re suppose to ask for fear of getting lectured about sound money again. They just smile and check the box. We’re all friends, I just wish they didn’t serve the devil. 😈
