Isn’t that more a browser issue than a website issue?

idk, do i really need to download 100s of megabytes of javascript just to display some text and an image?

there is barely any websites left, all we have is bloatware

All big websites now are “application platforms” that spin up databases in the browser and run object code with justintime compiling. Hardly any “text and images” websites anymore.
