In the US, we’re not going to a 1 currency BTC era without first going through a dual-currency era. Have faith and keep building. If we keep doing that, Bitcoin will do the rest.
I agree with that reality.
BUT I’m not sure how I feel about so many influential bitcoiners and entrepreneurs being “partners” in this duel format.
River is a business. They’ve got to survive in order to thrive.
Btw, one legal change we can and should lobby for that we can probably get through under a Trump admin is in-kind ETF redemptions without tax consequences. That would be *huge* in a fight to ensure we do not stop in the dual currency era.

That and no cap gains tax below a certain threshold (no cap gains period would be great but not happening yet) is a strong start for people to build and appetite and see what Bitcoin actually is
Fight and resist Gresham’s law? People are going to spend the weaker currency that has less transactional friction. Sorry but this is just reality
I don't see the threat posed by people saving in bitcoin and spending in USD. If anything, it seems like a healthy stage in bitcoin's adoption.
Care to elaborate on how this could lead to bitcoin becoming captured?
Any tolerance for USD or any "fiat monopoly credits" means the power imbalance will persist.
