Nostr needs an equivalent of Twitter follows...

Some way to "like" users, maybe even label them or make groups

lists?

Maybe. Is this just something Amathyst is missing (or is hidden where I didn't see it)?

Ranking ?

list and timeline real time visible side by side would be interesting. real time (lists) and designed (algorithm).

Listr.lol

Create a list there and it will show up in Amethyst's top bar

Amethyst can't do it itself?

Didnt have the time to code it yet :(

But hey, by using two clients you can guarantee to not be centralized on Amethyst :)

Is this true I use both πŸ€” I have had several people reach out to me asking if I'm banned or blocked somehow as they don't see most my posts/ notes ect.

No idea, but I can see your posts just fine.

This is wonderful to hear. Thank you sir. 😊

Nostr needs protocol support for lists or groups imho

Glad you are here Luke πŸ™

Groups or "Circles" like G+ functionality would be AWESOME.

I thought following already existed. It is how I saw this note. What am I missing?

Following on Nostr == I acknowledge that this account exists as opposed to I want to see notes from this account?

As far as functionality goes, it'd be nice to be able to say "I want to prioritize seeing notes interacting with these users"

But my initial thought here was really probably just the list thing perhaps only my client seems to be missing

Listr.lol

Create lists of people and/or posts and some clients will show them natively afaik.

Coracle can do it, it's got a really flexable feed.

something is up with it though it keeps fucking up my relays.

yes. I use coracle, pretty good. think that some functionality like trending topic and word searching for posts like twitter has, will make it more attractive

Arcade beta on iOS is close

πŸ’― curated timelines is so useful

Or apply a rate limit percentage to some of your follows who post a ton, but you still want to see, 43% of them show in your feed..

you can open their profile to see them all.

Even better the top x% of posts which have been up-voted/zapped

groups would be dope
