Because whether a homeserver requires an invite code is independent.
Our homeserver does require invites because it provides hosting services at scale, and we have to manage resources.
It is like how some relays are paid.
Pubky Ring is just a keychain, it doesnt care which pubky app or homeserver you use.

Yikes. That's not my goal at all, my dude. If you want feedback coming from someone that doesn't know anything about your protocol, I followed the onboarding and tapped on the sign-in area on the web app, the keyring app opens, and I get an error.
I was going to post that on Nostr, and I just happened to see your other note. It seemed like a golden opportunity to show how both protocols are broken. I laughed at the similarities.
The invite code is required for the pubky.app homeserver. Once you enter that it logs in immediately

I just wanted to check it out, if it's better than Nostr like he says it is I'm interested.

If openvibe let me zap the nostr notes from the feed it would be my main nostr client.
It's actually a lot more stable than primal, never have issues with it crashing.
If pubkey is actually ok I think openvibe will add it to their app eventually.
