You have a small boat, which is not large enough to take more than one of them.

If you leave the tiger with the monkey, the tiger will eat the monkey.

If you leave the monkey with the banana, the monkey will eat the banana.

How do you get all 3 across the river?

1 First the monkey to side B.

2 Then the tiger to side B, and back monkey to A.

3 Leave Monkey in A and take banana to B side with Tiger.

4 Go back to A and take Monkey.
