Still a cool shirt though. ☁️

Red hat becoming closed hat.

Linux and all other opensource projects NEED opensource money bigtime.

People will not pay for what they’re used to getting for free. That’s the sad reality.

Those people only want free things and not something else. They go for the easiest, no matter the invisible things they sacrifice.

Most, if not all opensource projects should utilize #Bitcoin as a payment method. Those that never pay money wont care, those that already do have another option and those that coupdnt maybe can then.

It also protects them from the misuse of the dollar. There are many reasons the big companies like microsoft and google are big, like: the dollar (or any fiat) economy where the government invests newly created money in corporations they like.

They surely favor facebook, Microsoft or Google over Linux and etc, giving those corporations an unfair benefit, in return for them to be compliant.

Bitcoin solves this.

I still remember how much it hurt me when Novell bought Suse, my favorite linux distribution ever

They just sold themselves *again*

Their product still has massive potential. OpenSuSE Tumbleweed is a pleasure to run.

They’ve forgotten who they are though.

with so many changes of direction in the end it lose the essence. I'm going to give it a try in a VM

I also have several RH gadgets that don't feel proud to wear and use anymore

IBM was the death of that company. It just took a while for anyone to notice.

yup. Unfortunately this will have an impact on the whole ecosystem. RH contribution is huge
