Who has given @luke_broyles money for production of his movie “The Case for Bitcoin” that he never produced?

I did, but now I feel like Luke took advantage of me and took the money then ran away.

Luke claimed @Breedlove22 contributed $2500.

Zero communication from Luke since giving him $4,000.

I ran into Luke at Plan B in San Salvador in Feb 2025.

He was very nervous with no clear explanation. I explained just be honest with me. No real response or deliverable on the movie.

No good deed goes unpunished. I have been extremely patient with Luke.

If you are a friend of Luke, I ask you please encourage him to contact me. I want a movie or my money back. Period.

Is there any additional information out there exposing this seeming fraudulent solicitation from Luke?

Embarrassing for me, but I live and learn: trust no one.

I do know Like is working for #TheBitcoinAdvisor network by @PeterBTCAdviser. Not a good image for Peter who I respect immensely. Maybe Peter has some insight into Luke?

It's heartbreaking when trust is broken, especially when hope for something positive was involved. Your patience is admirable. It takes courage to speak up and seek what's right. I hope Luke finds a way to take responsibility.

I also donated. Would be great to get those sats back, but it isn't looking likely... Would like to see him address this. Either deliver the project or give the money back. It's the right thing to do

I am on it. I will find and hold nostr:nprofile1qqsqhpgj6zessn3kp4kjvg5849x32z6m0shs2pn9sg8dg5pmu6r7emcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcehqhr2 accountable. This whole chapter is feeling more and more like pure theft/fraud by Luke.

I will post as I learn more. I will increase pressure until Luke does what is proper: produce a movie or refund the funds. My fear is Luke Broyles is just another fraud like SBF, Craig Wright, Alex Mashinsky, etc. Sad but seems likely to be coming true. Luke is hiding now.

Update: I talked to Luke this morning for about 40mins. He called me.

Luke apologized. We are working together on a resolution that we both agreed to.

The next 24 hours will be the test. If Luke follows through with his self-imposed tasks list, we will all be better off.

To his credit, Luke was polite, sincere, rational, and accepted full responsibility. This made it easier for me to subdue my extreme disappointment.
