Are you trying to change the wallet you receive zaps to, or the wallet you send zaps from?

Both

Ok got it. So it's 2 different settings. In Damus to edit your receiving address you go to your profile and tap "edit" and then change your "Bitcoin Lightning Tips" address to a Lightning address that can receive zaps. See the screenshots below.

For sending, if you want one-tap zaps in Damus then you would use the Alby or Mutiny NWC option (which is the screenshot you posted above). In order to use that you have to go to Alby or Mutiny settings and generate a NWC connect string for Damus, and then paste it in there and save it. Once you do that, double check that Damus didn't overwrite your receive address because it does that sometimes when you change the NWC settings.

If you don't care about sending with one-tap zaps in Damus, then just go into your app settings menu and select a default wallet. Then when you zap someone it will open up that wallet app for you to confirm the send.

Thank you so much! That’s a lot of effort and I appreciate it. I’ve been trying to fix it on both Damus and primal. Did you receive my zap?

I don't see a zap from you. Which note did you send it on?

This one. I’ve got someone trying to solve it for me today. So far, I’ve learned Muun does not provide an Lnurl, Mutiny sucks and quickly creating a useable lightening channel (after paying sats), and everything is getting harder with NKYC 🥺

Correct, Muun cannot be used to receive zaps. Are you trying to receive zaps in a non-custodial manner? Or are you ok with using a custodial wallet for that.

I’ve got someone working on it right now. Initially, I was hoping to receive on mutiny but I’m open. I don’t want to give my info like name email etc

Do you have telegram? If so there is lightning tip bot, which is created by one of the devs here nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg . It's what I use to receive. You set it up initially in telegram but then you can link it to Zeus or BlueWallet to control it like a regular wallet. It also gives you an anonymous Lightning address if you don't want to dox your telegram username.

Sounds interesting

It works great. I've been using it for over 2 years, even before using it with nostr.

I don’t understand the entirety of this system…but thank you nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg for creating solutions like this

It is a custodial lightning wallet with a telegram bot that allows you to integrate payments into your telegram groups. It also works externally from telegram though as a regular lightning wallet. You can control it via the telegram bot, or via external apps like Zeus and BlueWallet

Yes that's the one 🤙

Any way to have cashu e-cash in telegram?

You don’t need lightning channels to use lightning with Mutiny anymore. Update to the latest release.

I tried setting up a channel with Mutiny and adding that. It was only allowing me to send, not receive. I’m still waiting on that. Then, I tried Muun and I can’t connect it/got the message on Damus that you see below. I enjoy Primals interface more but my burner name/email isn’t working to create a wallet

Yea Primal simplifies things because they have their own integrated wallet and they use the same wallet for sending and receiving. In the screen you have there from Damus, it is looking for a Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) string to authorize Damus to send payments using your external NWC wallet. Alby and Mutiny both have NWC support. The connection string will begin with nostr+walletconnect:// followed by the rest of the connection string you generate. It has to be that format for that particular wallet setting.
