Suddenly I feel the need to slap somebody with a big large trout!
The most widely used IRC server at the moment is Twitch, whose user base significantly exceeds that of both Nostr and BlueSky combined, so it would be incorrect to say IRC is "coming back" โ it never left.
Logs into my weechat instance...
