Most DM management I've done on desktop has been with NOSCL. But probably not ideal

I hadn't read the previous message because my client couldn't find them. If you want DMs then I don't recommend any clients. Just stop using DMs. Use SimpleX or Telegram.

Telegram is not better than nostr. SimpleX is good.

Primal on desktop is pretty good but can be cantankerous; sometimes I have to click the conversation twice to get the newest messages.
Damus on iOS is super easy.
Nostrchat.io is great for dms and channels!

Agreed on Primal, messages flow gets messed up constantly and often takes 3-4 refreshes to fix
