How many of you that use NostrGram care about badges? I'm trying to decide where it should be on my priority list.

A bunch of other small things, too (and a few really big ones like group chat)
Personally I think mute threads and group chat could be more useful than badges but there's always the cutting edge aspect that motivates.
Relatedly at times I wish the chat entry box at top of screen could be in a div that I could drag/drop to rearrange somewhere else on page, and be able to work on a post while switching filtered views.

What does badges do?
Nostr has a Nip now that allows pubkeys to be awarded badges for whatever purpose the badge creator wants. There's a standard way to display the badges so clients can all show them (if they choose).

There is also a technique called FROSTR that allows multisignature badge assignment.
E.g. If 3 of 5 specific people agree, person can get rewarded the badge.
It seems quite interesting
Fun to have, not that important
I like the idea of being able to display and toggle badge display in profile on/off. And maybe a "top" badge to show in lower left corner of pfp when viewing notes like the wot score in lower right.
But also thinking badges are going to get prolific and may need extensive ui handling. Paging through, categorizing etc.
There's a lot that can be built around badges.

Surely not. But I feel like that's the way most are taking it on at the moment, but personally I think there's a much more of a broader meaningful spectrum of use cases that badges can be utilised for in the long run.

You can’t sell em. For a start. Also I am not sure if you awarded but haven’t accepted is it still visible.
They can be at the end a tool for some reputation.

What’s the purpose of badges?
You can be awarded badges for pretty much anything the badge creator decides. The idea is a way of rewarding people that they can display on their profiles. Kind of like the way reddit does it I guess.
They could be tool to build reputation for a start.
But then no one would accept a badge saying something wrong was done by that person.
What is happening with awarded but not accepted ones? Are they still stay visible on the network?
