The standards look pretty high there. It's good to see NaCL in use for message body encryption but of course the key/secret exchange is also 100% important, and it looks good. I'm no expert but I recognise these protocols. Thanks very much for that. I should've perused the site in more detail myself. I note that device storage for messages isn't encrypted which tells me that this is a work in progress. Some kind of zero-access encryption for device storage would be good. Having said that there will inevitably be the standard app sandboxing and also if you're smart, like yourself, your GrapheneOS will do that for you 🔥🙏💜
