I live in the US and it’s looking bleak. Truly “get off my lawn” type policy.

Watching what Bukele has accomplished in ES and how the country has improved in a multitude of actually important measurables makes me realize that some countries are going to be fighting 20th century wars in the 21st century.

World reserve currencies typically only last about 100 years, and we seem to be on track to keep that streak alive. The lifeboat is sitting right there, but I’m not optimistic we’ll embrace it

I live in the US too. Unfortunately, the monopolies usually get it last, because they grow lazy. Blockbuster vs Netflix, Kodak vs digital cameras (which they ironically invented), Sears vs Amazon, etc. I think the same principle will hold true for the USA Inc. because of rampant political corruption and incompetence across the board. Frankly, the USA Inc. doesn’t need ₿itcoin… yet. But when it does, it may be too late. But US citizens that adopt early will still be ok.

Yes, Complacency is an absolute killer. Too focused on trying to preserve/ protect the old system instead of seeing the new opportunities in front of our face.

Im more concerned they’ll try to seize citizens bitcoin at some point, more so than even miss out on hopping aboard this lifeboat

It’s a moot point for me however, as I unfortunately lost all my bitcoin in a paddle-boarding accident and need to start from scratch
