Today I learnt how to make candied ginger.
Which means I also have ginger tea, ginger syrup, leftover lemons in a jar preserving and a science experiment that may or may not be fermenting.
No waste at all which is so satisfying.
If anyone has a ginger bug recipe let me know.
Nice! I've never made candied ginger but I do enjoy a bit. Was it hard to make?
It was easy but involved. It’s a 4 part process and just takes time. And with each step you get bonus yummy left overs so it feels worth the effort.
