Who can I talk to about onboarding a small business to accept Bitcoin? Dad has a well renown photography business in the pine belt, he’s half orange-pilled (working on upping his dosage), and I want to help him accept it. I think his main concern is how the accounting works and how to integrate it with his current system.

What type of electronic payment system does he use

I believe Square

dont they have a built in system for bitcoin. If he uses them they would do all the accounting right. Check me on this

Ibex is a good partner for businesses looking to accept Bitcoin without the hassle. This is who the Perth Heat are using.

Andreas Antonopolis has talked about accounting for these transactions. You just do it in USD value at the time of transaction. It's more work... But worth it.

‘Working on upping his dosage’ 😂

Voltpay.app allows him to accept bitcoin while also tracking the fiat value of bitcoin he received for tax reporting.

It's a bitcoin wallet that's geared towards recieving bitcoin rather than spending it.

He can even setup his product/service SKUs.

He just needs an email address to get going.

Thank you. I’m going to look into this. Haven’t heard of this one.

Yeah - it's a really underappreciated app from a really solid Aussie Bitcoiner.

By default it uses custodial lightning, but you can connect it to your own node.

I just started using LNbits (using a clearNet instance). It’s accounting capabilities are pretty amazing. Has a user manager extension that lets you create wallets in seconds. All connected to your node.

I’m planning to try it with some friends to see how it goes (they are small business owners).
