The challenge for me will be what to offer to my extended family.

They have lives in the UK they cannot easily leave behind. I can financially support them, but that's not the same as giving them a life elsewhere.

I don't want my entire family sipping Piña colada's on a beach somewhere for the rest of their lives. Despite the image, that's no life.

I am getting closer and closer to deciding not to stay and try to revitalise my second home of Ventnor.

In a sane world governments would be doing everything possible to encourage me to stay, not to force me to leave.
