Just watched Crash (1996) directed by David Cronenberg. The third movie in his psychological/existential phase. It’s about people who are sexually aroused by car crashes. Another weird one but rooted in reality, compared to the other movies of this phase. The story was okay but disintegrates in the last 20 minutes. Ending makes no sense. Some very questionable erotic scenes. 4.5/10 #nodereviews

This movie reminds me of Titane (2021) directed by Julia Ducourneau. Body horror movie. Flesh and machinery. Way better movie. Executed much better than Crash
I will check this one out.
Julia Ducourneau made 2 movies. Both are excellent. The other one is called Raw (Grave) (2016). Another horror movie about a vegetarian veterinary student who starts eating human flesh 😂
Crash was a book first by jg ballard he believed all the critics misunderstood him. Something about in a technological world everything will become sexualized and pornographic, and he didn’t believe in leading the reader to a conclusion but allowed them to discover their own conclusions. 🤷🏻♂️ whatever that is worth, but I agree with your review.
I thought it was about police and racial violence... Are there 2 movies called Crash? The officer ends up dying in a car fire while saving the same woman from a burning car that he inappropriately fondled at the police checkpoint in the start of the movie.
You’re thinking of Crash (2004) with Sandra Bullock and Don Cheadle. That’s a totally different movie. Much better than the trash bag one I just saw 😂
