One of the reasons I refuse to go to concerts these days is because of the amount of time that they make you wait for the main act to start.

If I have to wait more than a half hour, I leave.

In meetings, if they’re late 10 minutes without notification, or half an hour with notification, I leave.

I will always find better things to do with my time not wasted on waiting on someone.

Standards, is all.

Excellent life philosophy!

That has a logic but are you never late? When i was living in some another city, never be late was impossible 🀷

I am rarely late. I’m 99% of the time early or on time. If you’re living in a city where traffic is bad, then account for that time and adjust, add cushion.

That is also impossible.

I am not telling you to be patient. But some times the excuses are real. Btw where i live now, i am almost never late

I think I have fairly high standards for me and others. If someone can’t keep up with me, there are many others that can.

There's a personality that is late because the other party has no value, and one that is late because they don't know their own value. Safe to assume the concert type is the former, at most concerts.

big agree on the meeting punctuality. i view it as a respect thing and won’t tolerate the lack thereof

I've noticed that people who are late are usually happier than those waiting for them. πŸ˜‚

Probably true! Until they realise that they are also meeting someone who is no longer there.

we have some similarities πŸ˜‚

Swiss and time.. much important. πŸ˜„

I always call if I'm running late for an appointment, or if I think I'm running late. But I don't go to concerts because there are too many people, it is exhausting being in a place with more than a handful of people.

I am the same. A courtesy call doesn’t hurt and it shows respect for the other person.

If I have to go to a crowded event, I prefer the outdoor ones. Not really fond of cinemas. Dark places with strangers. lol

I also understand that sometimes it's better to reschedule if need be.

Outside is definitely better. We'll only go movie watching during the day on a weekday, most times we're the only ones there πŸ˜‚. But I've found that I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, they have the volume cranked up way past my tolerance levels πŸ‘΅.
