I remember when soda machines dispensed those short, fat, glass bottles with the superthin foam label. Seems like about one in five would break as it dropped out of the machine.

Then again, those returnable glass coke bottles were tough as nails.

The only thing Worth recycling is metal

drive to North Carolina and you'll see thousands of acres of trees planted in rows that they harvest every 15 years like corn. fly across the country and it's covered with trees. we're not running low

plastic is made from a waste product from the oil refining industry that we have an infinite supply of for free

glass is made of f****** sand. the world is full of sand and it's made of sand

It cracks me up when someone screams about my plastic grocery bags need a gazillion years to decompose.

I'm like okay, if that's true then show me how plastic bags can be used to build a house that will out-last its mortgage. 🤣

I don't think it's a coincidence that the oceans became full of plastic when we started recycling plastic

since nobody can actually recycle it they give it to some Vietnamese guy on a boat who says he'll take it to Vietnam and they'll recycle it but actually you just dumps it in the ocean comes back and gets another load

I'm actually not making that up
